Had my Year End Performance Review interview with my boss and in a mere instant, was banished into the depths of condemnation. “NO Contribution” “NO Improvement” “NO Teamwork” “NO Aggressiveness” “NO…”

Casting aside doubts on the level of fairness and pragmaticality of my boss’s expectations, I on my part have indeed failed to meet the demands and expectations of hers. So my boss has all rights to be disgruntled with me.

But if you were to ask me if I am a good employee, I’d reply YES without hesitation. But perhaps, not good enough for her…

My florescence bulb fused and Dad hung a temporary one on the hook of my Slam Dunk poster. Like a dead man’s eye popped out of its socket, it clung onto my wall emitting eerie orange light, peering at me whichever part of my room I moved to. How ugly…
